Culture Fest is Saturday from 11 am - 1 pm. We will have dance performances from Hayiya Dance Theatre, Inc., and music performed by guest musician Vicki Lu as part of the Confucius Institute from Wesleyan College. We will also have activity tables hosted by the Confucius Institute and the Ocmulgee Mounds Association. The Confucius Institute will be highlighting the traditions of Chinese tea, calligraphy, and paper cutting. The Ocmulgee Mounds Association will be showing visitors how clay paddles were used to decorate pottery used by Georgia’s Indigenous peoples. We will also have face painting, delicious food, and lots of outdoor fun! We would love each of our families to bring a covered dish representing their native or favorite country! Remember, it needs to serve at least 30 small servings. We will also have water and sodas for sale.
